For my final in Emerging Tech I was assigned a family heritage project. This final consisted of five smaller projects that show what I learned this semester.
First, to gather information I typed up 25 questions. Those questions are found in this link: Interview Questions
Next I wrote an email to my maternal grandparents and asked them questions about their grandparents and parents. A copy of that email is found in this link: Email
To organize my thoughts and the information I received from my grandparents I created a family tree on the website familyecho.com. That family tree is found here: Family Echo
With this information I was then able to create a prezi and an infographic!

I really enjoyed watching this video, because it made me look at life in a different way. It made me think about how much time I spend on my phone or computer in a day. Time I could have spent with friends and family, or even doing something beneficial. Entertainment doesn't have to come from a screen. It could be a book, people or exercise. Eye contact is healthy for the human mind. Screens aren't.
