Friday February 28th

How far along are you on your infographic? Will you be finished and ready to embed on to your blog by the end of the hour today? Do you think you've used your time wisely in class? Explain yourself.

I am completely done with my infographic! I used my time well every day that we worked on it. My outline really helped me organize my thoughts. I am very pleased with my infographic!

Why do I have you brainstorm and collect your information in a Google Doc before putting in to final draft? Explain.

It is important to organize your thoughts before creating a presentation.

Tuesday February 25th

Yesterday I introduced you to infographics... tell me again what they are and how they are used? What is the benefit of an infographic? What goes into an infogrpahic? Also, go out and see if you can find an already existing infographic on your global issue.

Infographics are used to organize statistics and make them fun and interesting to read! The benefits of an infographic is that your information is condensed to one document! Pictures, statistics, chats, etc. can all go into an infographic.

My Global Issue Paper

My global issue was Obesity. Obesity is a very relevant issue in the world today, especially the United States. Causes include genetics, lack of exercise and eating poorly.Obesity can be prevented by exercising regularly and eating right.  Teaching children the joys of healthy eating is the first step in prevention. If we want a healthy world we must spread awareness about this potential fatal disorder.

Where are you at with your 5 paragraph essay so far? How is it coming? Is it easy to write? Difficult to write? Is it helpful that you created an outline first? Explain.

My paper on Obesity is complete! It was easy to write because I took a lot of time to do my outline. The outline organized my thoughts into categories, which turned into paragraphs.

Monday February 3rd

Tell me about your Sweetheart weekend. If you didn't go to Sweetheart, what did you do? I want details!

 I went to sweetheart with one of my best friends, Carson. I wore a hot pink dress and he wore a hot pink bow tie! My shoes were bright blue too so I had a lot of color goin on. 15 couples came to my house for pictures and then we all went to Kyotos, which was amazing! We went to the dance just in time to see the sweetheart king and queen crowned! The after party was really fun, too!
